HISTORY

Southern California Eyecare was founded by Dr. Deep R. Dudeja, who wanted to provide state of the art eye care for his patients. The practice was started in La Habra, California in 2006 and added another location in Fullerton, California. The practice is geared towards providing comprehensive eye care to the local community. The practice provides ophthalmology and optometry services such as cataract surgery with premium intraocular lenses, corneal diseases, corneal transplant surgery, eyelid repair surgery, glaucoma care, and diabetic eye evaluations as well as routine eye care for vision with glasses and contact lenses. Dr. Chester C. Cheng recently joined as a new associate at Southern California Eyecare. He will be providing primary eye care as well optometry services.

Our practice believes in cutting-edge technology. Our doctors are very involved in the newest state of the art equipment and are passionate about utilizing this technology in the office. Our practice is completely up to date on the newest and most efficient forms of eye medication and surgery.  This inspiration has led us to create an extremely efficient and professional Ophthalmology practice which provides the best care for our patients. One of the benefits of such a practice is that it is designed to be virtually paperless; from appointment scheduling to charting, everything is documented on electronic records. To ensure safety, privacy and HIPPA compliance, all the data is securely backed up offsite daily. 

Dr. Dudeja is a skilled and a gifted surgeon. His dedication towards his patients is simply remarkable. He is ready to lend a hand to anybody that needs medical attention concerning eye treatment. He is very well respected by his staff and among fellow doctors. He is proficient in several procedures such as cataract removal including newer toric, multifocal and accommodative lenses, cornea transplants, eyelid surgery, pterygium surgery using tissue glue, as well as laser surgery for glaucoma and diabetic eye complications. Dr. Dudeja provides personal care to all his patients.

Dr. Cheng believes in spending quality time with his patients.  His thoroughness in eye examinations ensures that his patients receive meaningful and complete care.  His primary concern has always been acting for the best interests of his patients, and to ensure that they understand their conditions as well as their treatment options.
